About Us

Personalized medical education technology
MOKSH group was formed in 2012 in India with the sole mission to fill the gap of healthcare professionals globally. By 2018, it became a market leader in healthcare student mobility space in B2C segment placing 1000+ students annually in 6 countries for medical programs.
This business stream of student mobility has now become the feeder network for all the group activities globally. The industry demand was responded by MOKSH and a new Academy was born in 2018.The industry pain point
It was realized that just placing students to become a doctor is not the full solution since every student need to clear the licensing exam such as FMGE or USMLE before they can practise their clinical skills. The success ratio of students in the license exam such as FMGE was hardly 14.22% and it surely needed a solution for the students.
By 2019, Indian parliament passed the law about mandatory license exam for all the doctors (India and foreign returned) namely NEXT (National Exit Test). This test would be applicable for all the graduates passing after June, 2023. Suddenly, the medicos realized that the MBBS degree does not mean a license to practice in India and they would need to prepare for the exit exam.
This situation gave birth to the MOKSH Academy, which has now become the most preferred test prep solution among the medicos across the country for various entry and exit exams.
USMLE test-taking strategies
moksheduconltd Health #abroadstudy https://mokshacademy.com/course/usmle-test-taking-strategies
You will encounter abundant material on USMLE test-taking strategies, but it's crucial to recognize that the USMLE is a dynamic exam that doesn't offer many shortcuts. No amount of tips and tricks can replace thorough and methodical preparation.
However, it is highly advantageous for you to review this discussion. What follows is more than a mere list of strategies; it aims to provide you with a deeper understanding and a strategic perspective.
Importance of USMLE Step 1
The changes to the USMLE in 2022 will significantly alter the role and impact of the USMLE Step 1 in candidate assessment. To put it simply, what was once a competitive exam has now become a qualifying one. In other words, the USMLE Step 1 has transitioned into a 'pass/fail' test. Consequently, the strategies for taking the USMLE must evolve. While scoring and rank determination will now depend more on USMLE Step 2 CK and USMLE Step 3, this does not diminish the importance of USMLE Step 1.
It would be a mistake to assume that one should prioritize preparation for Steps 2 and 3 over Step 1. On the contrary, USMLE Step 1 holds greater significance than the other two steps. Firstly, preparation for USMLE Step 1 forms the foundation of USMLE preparation overall.
In fact, a solid preparation for USMLE Step 1 sets the stage for success in the subsequent steps. Secondly, even though it has become a qualifying test, achieving a passing score in USMLE Step 1 is non-negotiable. However, attaining this passing score is by no means easy.
Our advice is to treat USMLE Step 1 as the most critical step in the entire USMLE process.
USMLE study resources

USMLE Study Resources
When it comes to USMLE preparation, there is a plethora of study resources available, which can be categorized into four main types: online materials, books, videos & audio, and study applications. Let's delve into each of these sources and determine which would best suit your needs.
Online Materials
Online platforms offer a vast array of USMLE study resources, covering a significant portion of the USMLE curriculum. These resources include sample questions for all stages of the USMLE, such as Step 1, Step 2, and Step 3. Additionally, numerous organizations provide preparation materials in the form of question banks, self-assessment modules, mock tests, and more. Among these options, the Moksh online USMLE training module stands out due to its structured approach and design. Here's why:
Firstly, Moksh's USMLE module mirrors the real examination situation, as all exams in the USMLE series are taken online.
Secondly, we offer flexible subscription options tailored to your needs, allowing you to choose specific durations for your preparation.
Most importantly, Moksh's question banks are regularly updated to reflect the evolving nature of the USMLE exams. Some modules even replicate the level of difficulty of the real exams, enabling you to gauge your readiness and tailor your preparation accordingly.
Books
Books serve as the foundation for USMLE preparation, providing essential concepts and knowledge required for the exams. While there is a wide selection of books available, only a few prove to be effective USMLE study resources. It is advisable to purchase these books from reputable sources such as e-commerce sites like Amazon or other authorized book-selling websites. Avoid relying on free materials found online, as they may be outdated and not conducive to effective preparation. Similarly, exercise caution when purchasing books from physical stores, as they may contain copied material that could hinder your progress. Seek guidance from experienced individuals, such as seniors, to make informed decisions about your study materials.

Step 3 is typically undertaken upon completion of medical school and residency training, as it is a prerequisite for obtaining an unrestricted medical license in the United States.
The Step 3 exam comprises two parts:
Part 1: This section consists of 232 multiple-choice questions covering various topics such as patient management, history and physical examination, lab and diagnostic studies, diagnosis, prognosis, and pathophysiology.

US Medical License
moksheduconltd Health #abroadstudy https://mokshacademy.com/clinical-career/us-medical-license
The United States operates as a federation, with individual states retaining significant legislative powers. Consequently, the issuance of medical licenses falls within the jurisdiction of each respective state.
Primarily, pursuing a career as a doctor in the US involves navigating two distinct processes: medical licensing and board certification. Board certification, such as the Education Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) Certification, follows a separate protocol.
The ECFMG oversees a comprehensive certification process, rigorously evaluating physicians' knowledge and skills. However, even with board certification, a physician can only practice upon obtaining a medical license from a specific US state.
While there are federal positions within entities like the US Military or federal prisons that employ medical personnel, these doctors still require licensure from individual states. Typically, doctors practice within the state that grants them a medical license, which serves as their official authorization to practice medicine in the US.
Moreover, the proliferation of information technology has led to the emergence of telemedicine, allowing physicians to diagnose and treat patients remotely. However, certain states have imposed restrictions on telemedicine practices as well.
